A family concert with Siggen Falkeid and Munor
The little snail sets out on a difficult journey to find a voice for its friend, the pine tree. But how does a pine tree sound? In this lovely fairy tale by Dagmar Glüxam we hear how a violin is made and how it is played. And the snail? Since it is so patient and persevering, it gets a place of honour on top of the little curl of the violin’s neck. We also get to see beautiful pictures from the book. Born in Czechia, the author has lived in Vienna since 1987; in addition to writing children’s books, Dagmar Glüxam is a music historian and performing violinist with CD recordings, TV appearances, and academic publications. Siggen Falkeid translated the text from the German original.
