A documentary about Olav Nygaard with musical introduction by Munor’s piano trio
A viewing of a documentary film about the visual artist Olav Nygaard made by the film-maker Erlend Bjelland. Throughout his career Nygaard has painted nature in an abstract form, often from a high perspective. He is a highly regarded painter whose works have been shown in many galleries in Norway and elsewhere. Erlend Bjelland has followed him closely over a long period. Nygaard often listens to music while painting; therefore the film is accompanied by music composed by Nils Økland and Sigbjørn Apeland. Munor’s piano trio contributes a musical introduction to the film with music that touches Nygaard’s heart.
