Kolbein Falkeid wrote many lyrics and sketches that were performed in Haugesund revues in the 1970s and 1980s. He and Gunnar Johan Løvvik cooperated closely in many of them.

For this concert Munor has selected some of Falkeid’s most memorable texts. They are performed by Løvvik and actress Janna Kari Kvinnesland accompanied by a star cast of musicians: Halvor LIllesand, Torbjørn Økland and Vegard Fossum. A unique opportunity for a special dip into Haugesund history.

Kolbein Falkeid is a well-known and beloved poet, both locally and nationally. Few others have managed so well to put into words both good and difficult feelings, to describe atmospheres, all the while with a sparkle in his eye. He is sorely missed.
