Chilean Axel Rios (living in Tysvær) is a member of Association of Norwegian Visual Artists Norwegian visual artists with a studio at Staalehuset. He divides his artistic activities between art production for exhibitions, to the public space, workshops with young people and artistic board positions. Clips from previous careers: Festival Artist of the Sildajazz Festival (2018), cultural scholarship from Rogaland County Municipality (2020), the solo exhibition «Future Species» in the Haugesund Gallery of Art (2021). Rios often works with music in the background. This time, in collaboration with Munor, Rios is experimenting with something completely new. He will focus on the musicians’ hand movements, try to capture them and express them on paper. This happens during the concert while the music is expressed through Rio’s lines and lines.
